In addition to complying with the requirements of California Government Code Section 53600 et. seq. the purpose of this policy is to provide clear guidance for the investment of all financial assets of the Orange County Vector Control District. District staff is looking for safety first in any investment, followed by return rate and liquidity.  The investment policy of OCVCD is reviewed by the trustees every year.
