The mission of the Orange County Vector Control District is to provide the citizens of Orange County with the highest level of protection from vectors and vector-borne diseases.

Please note that as of March 23, 2015, all rat repeat service requests have been suspended. However, rat control service requests for properties that we have not visited or serviced before, will still be taken. To be proactive and help reduce the possibility of a West Nile virus outbreak during the mosquito season, most of our field staff have been reassigned to expand our mosquito control efforts.
